Appointment Setting for a Government-funded NonProfit’s Partnership Campaign
I worked with a nonprofit to support a partnership campaign in Canada. This organization, backed by a Canadian government department, faced a significant challenge.
They had created a program for other nonprofits but struggled to find partners due to limited time and expertise in setting up appointments.
Halfway through their fiscal year, the CEO realized they needed more partners to secure future funding.
To address this, they sought my help through a B2B lead generation and appointment-setting service.
This post shares how I set up and implemented the campaign, along with the results.
Initial Target List by Province
Challenge
A nonprofit funded by a Canadian government department/agency was tasked with creating a program to potentially be used by nonprofits funded by the same department/agency (“partners”). While the program development went well, half the fiscal year passed, and they had acquired few partners.
Although their team excelled at securing partnerships during direct meetings, they lacked the time and expertise to identify key decision-makers and generate appointments.
The nonprofit’s CEO recognized the need to significantly increase partner acquisition to demonstrate strong demand/utilization of their program, ensuring their funding would be renewed.

Booked 160+ appointments with target partners’ key decision-makers.

Increased partner acquisition opportunities.
Significantly boosted the demand/utilization of the nonprofit’s program.
Through this campaign, I helped the nonprofit achieve the visibility and demand they needed to secure ongoing funding and expand their impact.
