My Design Principles for Craft Beer in Greater Vancouver, Canada

As a revenue designer, I specialize in creating designs that not only look great but also drive results. By combining design, marketing, and sales principles, I am able to create elements that encourage people to take action, such as making a purchase or inquiring about a service. I prioritize understanding the target audience, staying updated on marketing trends, and refining designs based on data and feedback. Ultimately, my goal is to make a real impact on the success of your business.

Design Approach

My “Revenue Design” philosophy combines design, marketing, and sales principles to create designs that boost performance and drive revenue.

I focus on creating elements that not only look good but also compel people to take action, like making a purchase, signing up, or inquiring about a service.

Being a revenue designer means understanding the target audience, staying updated on marketing trends, and constantly refining designs based on data and feedback.

It’s about using creativity and analytical skills to make a real impact on the success of the business.

Design Process

In my design process, I focus on driving revenue

Unlike traditional designers who sometimes design exclusively to create a work of art, I aim to create elements that encourage users to take actions that make money, like buying, subscribing, or asking about products/services.

I use data and analytics to guide my design choices.

By studying how users behave and looking at conversion numbers, I tweak my designs to get the best results for the business.

Understanding how people think is crucial for me.

I have studied and am constantly learning about consumer psychology, like how to persuade, build trust, and connect emotionally. This helps me make designs that speak to the people I’m targeting and encourage them to act.

I work closely with marketing and sales teams. Together, we make sure my design plans align with the business’s goals, promotions, and sales tactics. This way, we all work together to make the business grow.

Design Goals

UX Design for Conversion: Crafting user interfaces that are not only intuitive but also lead users towards making conversions or engaging in desired behaviors.

Visual Hierarchy and Attention Management: Designing with a focus on highlighting key messages and calls to action (CTAs), guiding users through a seamless journey that leads to decision-making.

Iterative Testing: Employing A/B testing and other experimental methods to determine which design variations yield the highest conversion rates, adopting an evidence-based approach to design enhancement.

Brand Alignment: Ensuring all design elements not only contribute to sales but also reflect and reinforce the brand’s identity, ensuring a coherent experience across all customer interactions.

Design Overview

As a revenue designer, my main goal is to turn design elements into powerful assets that help my clients’ businesses grow.

I focus on making sure that designs lead to more sales, keep customers interested, and bring in more money. This means my role isn’t just about being creative but also about making smart choices that boost my clients’ businesses.

In simple terms, being a “revenue designer” is about carefully planning every design aspect to make sure it helps my clients’ businesses succeed.

To do this job well, I make sure my team and I tap into our creativity, are good with numbers, and think strategically.

In summary, I use design to help my clients make more money and do better in their niches.
